Before I was a technology executive, I was a sculptor's engineer — seven years with George Rickey, building kinetic sculptures that now stand in the National Gallery and MoMA, machining bearings so that hundreds of pounds of steel could move in a whisper of wind. Everything since has been a version of that job: making complex things move, reliably and beautifully. From mailstream mechatronics to cloud platforms to AI, and now as an advisor and director helping others do the same.
